New characters include Ridley and Baby Bowser. Ice Climbers are out, Bowser is out, Cel-Shaded Link is substituting for Y.Link, Marth and Roy are out, Sheik will still be in, despite Zero-Suit Samus having all the same moves as her, and Game and Watch is out. The info about Sheik may not be correct: I gathered it from inside sources, but their reliability is not 100%. Oh, and Sonic is almost most definitely in the game. That combined with 40 characters? I have trouble learning like five.
Currently, all the pants I have are in the wash.

Wait hold on, the 1UP page doesn't say anything about Marth and Roy being out.
Marth and Roy are out because Fire Emblem is really only prominent in Japan. Since this is a global game, they want characters everyone can identify with, and Marth doesn't fit that description.
How do you know this?
C'mon, I'm deep within the smash community. I go to Ken's house every week and I have contacts in MLG. You'd be surprised if I didn't know these things.
